The Windmill Pitcher is a specialized position in the sport of Fastpitch Softball. This winter off season, we will commit to the Pitcher’s performance and athleticism in a 2 hour program for 15 weeks. The mental component of the PITCHER’S position also deserves an educational approach toward details on the mound and in the dugout. This comes with developing a greater sense of self-awareness. Pitchers will build awareness of their mental approach through discussion and analyze optimal mechanics using demonstrative video.
ALTA FIT will pinpoint areas of the physical body through exercise which must be strengthened in order to demonstrate optimal mechanics. The 2nd hour of focus will be exercises with ALTA FIT experts targeting balance through STABILITY with a strong core & legs while firing hip flexors through plyometrics, agility and speed.
