Blazing Paths with Fastpitch Softball (BPFS) and Alta Fit are teaming up to create a unique winter workout experience. Catchers can join the Pitcher during a 1 hr. ALTA FIT Sports Performance workouts.
Wednesday / 1 hr.
6:30pm: Volunteer Catcher (no fee)
7:30pm: 1 hr. ALTA FIT Workout (optional) / Rate: $25 per session
The Catcher is a specialized position in the sport of Fastpitch Softball. The 1st hour of FIERCE HEAT is devoted to refining pitching mechanics through power drills with speed and accuracy. The mental component of the position also deserves an educational approach toward details on the mound while developing a greater sense of self-awareness. The CATCHER is her partner in the BATTERY.
ALTA FIT will pinpoint areas of the physical body through exercises which must be strengthened in order to demonstrate optimal mechanics in both positions as CATCHER & PITCHER.
